Tony Jackson studied painting at Bath Academy of Art, (1963-66). He then worked as an Art Teacher in secondary schools for 30 years, and was the Director of Expressive Arts at a comprehensive school in Hertfordshire, UK. He took early retirement in 1996 to concentrate on his painting, and the development of Adult Education classes in general Art and Design, landscape and portrait drawing.
